Who Am I

This is my sobriety Song. I wrote it shortly after finishing my recovery program, 11 years ago. The song is a promise to my daughter that I would never have another drink. A special thanks to Michael Fogarty, my producer.

I am so proud to present my first professionally produced song, 'Blue.' It is an old-school analog recording and production that boasts warmth and a fat sound. 'Blue' is a blend of old Southern Delta blues and traditional country music, making it a fun song!  The band comprises a group of international musicians from Italy, Japan, and the United States.  'Blue' is written and performed by me (Juan Carlos Hernandez) and produced by Michael Fogarty, the most talented musician I know and my friend.  If you just want to feel good about a song today, give 'Blue' a listen!"

 I wrote this song many years ago about a very lonely and difficult time in my life. I finally got around to recording it during the pandemic. I forgot about the track and just found it a few days ago. It truly was a “Mad dog 2020 year.” I hope you like the video, i just put it together.
